Born in Wymark, SK, Lyle Reimer believes Life and Art exist in a symbiotic relationship and excels at making something from nothing.
Pursuing his love for art, fashion and makeup, Lyle trained at Blanche MacDonald in Vancouver, worked with local photographers, dance companies and hair salons to build his portfolio and after graduation worked with M.A.C Cosmetics.
Within two years of joining Instagram, his mixed media self-portraits caught the attention of international magazines and photographers. His book “Lyle XOX Head of Design” (Rizzoli) launched at Bergdorf Goodman in March 2019. He’s also the subject of documentary “Random is My Favorite Color”.
