A clear-eyed witness to today’s challenges, Virginie Brunelle casts an incisive gaze on a planet in overdrive. She delivers a commanding choreography — a vibrant fight for love and solidarity.
With its explosive bursts and raw impulses, Brunelle’s cathartic dance shakes the foundations and probes a fractured humanity in all its dimensions. In Sans quoi nous crèverons (“Without Which We’ll Perish”), she tackles chaos and dehumanization by building a scenic stronghold where unity becomes a saving force. On stage, five performers embody a collective power where physical exertion becomes a language. Their visceral, precise movements reveal a deep connection — every breath, every flicker of a muscle threads into a sensitive, human fabric. Driven by Laurier Rajotte’s organic soundscape, the performance rings out as a liberating cry against alienation and the slow erosion of our humanity — an urgent invitation to live fully.
