Returning to Quebec\u2019s capital in 2001 as a young artist-entrepreneur, she launched the concept <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Osez!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which would become her signature both in Quebec and abroad, and founded the company <\/span><b>Danse K par K<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2005. Her work explores the many facets of human fragility, as seen in productions such as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cibler<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Nobody<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trois paysages<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Danse de gar\u00e7ons<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Danse de nuit<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Danse de salon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De la glorieuse fragilit\u00e9<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Over the years, her body of work has affirmed the strength of her artistic approach and the deep humanity that resonates through her creations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alongside her artistic career, Ledoyen has also reflected on her practice through a master\u2019s degree at Universit\u00e9 Laval. For her significant contributions to the development of the dance community in Quebec City, she received the <\/span><b>Fran\u00e7ois Samson Award for Cultural Development<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in both 2006 and 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the pandemic, she created <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Osez! en solo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a series of outdoor performances for a single spectator. This was followed by <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Solos pr\u00eats-\u00e0-porter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, short dance films projected into the hands of passersby. In 2024, Karine returned to the roots of choreographic art with a new production.
